About the role
Incident notification deadlines are counted in hours, which makes this a genuine operation rather than a dashboard to check in the morning.
What you will do
- Triage alerts, separating noise from incident, against documented criteria.
- Run the first response steps and escalate within the set deadline.
- Keep the record that supports regulator notification when it is due.
What is required
- Experience in a security operations centre, incident response or systems administration.
- Availability for shifts, including out-of-hours coverage.
What is valued
- Defensive security certifications and familiarity with NIS2.
What we offer
- A Portuguese employment contract, with the fourteen annual payments, a meal allowance on a card and health insurance from the sixth month.
- Paid training in the first month and a written progression plan, reviewed every six months with your direct manager.
- Twenty-five days of holiday, above the legal minimum, and schedule flexibility within the team's coverage window.
