Comparison

Where we are the right choice and where we are not

Four alternatives, seven criteria, and what each one does better than us. A table where the author wins everything only tells you who wrote it.

No names

We do not name competitors. The comparison is category-level, because that is what we can stand behind: a statement about a specific company would be a claim we cannot verify and that they could fairly dispute.

Where we are the right choice and where we are not

Compare with

Multinational groups with thousands of seats in Portugal and a presence in dozens of countries.

Where they beat us

They beat us on raw scale and on certified process maturity. For a thousand-seat operation with formal certification requirements, they are often the safer choice.

The ratings are our reading of the categories, not independent measurements. Where the answer depends entirely on the case, it is marked as such rather than given a score that would mean nothing.

When we tell you we are not the answer

It happens, and we say so in the first conversation rather than discovering it midway through a contract. Losing a proposal is cheaper than losing a client six months later.

The three most frequent cases are these:

  • Very high volume at very low complexity, where price dominates everything: offshore staff leasing wins and we say so.
  • Occasional work of a few weeks, or a single role: hiring directly is almost always more sensible than standing up an operation.
  • A formal certification requirement we do not meet, such as ISO 27001: if it is a condition of contracting, we cannot satisfy it today.

Frequently asked questions

Why do you not name competitors?

Because a statement about a specific company would be a claim we cannot independently verify. A category-level comparison describes real trade-offs and is defensible.

Are you the cheapest?

No. Offshore staff leasing is cheaper and this page says so. If your only criterion is the lowest hourly cost, that model wins.

So why choose Corpshore?

For the combination of management included, Portuguese variant separation, and data transfer instruments settled before the operation opens. If none of those three matters in your case, we are probably not the right choice.

Do you hold the certifications the large operators hold?

We do not hold ISO 27001 or ISO 27701 and we do not claim them. If either is a condition of contracting, say so in the first conversation.

Are the ratings independent?

No. They are our reading of the categories and the page says so. The criteria are explained so you can disagree on the merits.

What if I already have a supplier?

A thirty-day pilot at small scope is the normal way to compare without disrupting what already works.

Can you match a lower price?

Sometimes, by changing the delivery model. What we do not do is lower the price by quietly removing things from scope, such as wellbeing support in moderation work.

How do I compare fully loaded cost?

The calculator on the pricing page does exactly that, comparing loaded cost with loaded cost and showing every line, including the ones that count against us.
