The pressure on technology and saas in Portugal

A first line without technical competence turns into routing, and the cost reappears in engineering.

Portugal is a frequent European base for foreign software companies, for the combination of English, engineering and EU jurisdiction.

What we run

  • Level 1 and 2 technical support with a maintained knowledge base
  • Manual and automated QA, including regression and accessibility
  • Dedicated engineering teams, in your repository and your cadence
  • Customer support and new-account onboarding

What we do not do

A dedicated team is not a loose set of developers. If scope is unstable we will say a fixed-scope project will generate change requests, and propose starting with a small team.

Delivery models that suit technology and saas

  • Onshore Portugal

When data cannot leave the EEA, or when the end customer is Portuguese

Stay inside the EEA. No transfer.

  • Nearshore in Portugal

When you need a multilingual European base without incorporating

Stay inside the EEA. No transfer.

  • Global network

When you need continuous cover, specific languages or the lowest cost

Poland is inside the EEA. The others require standard contractual clauses.

Frequently asked questions

Do you work in our repository?

Yes, in your repository, your board and your cadence.

Who owns the intellectual property?

You, by express clause, regardless of whether the contract continues.

Can we start with two people?

Yes. We recommend at least two so there is someone to review the work.

What is the overlap with the United States?

From Portugal, a full afternoon overlapping the east coast morning.

Can you scale quickly if the product grows?

Yes, with agreed notice in both directions. It is why many software companies use this model.

How long does it take to start?

Four to eight weeks in Portugal and three to six in the global hubs, from a signed proposal. Transition begins by documenting the process, not by transferring it.

What is the minimum size?

Three full-time people for a dedicated team, which is the minimum to cover holidays and absence. Below that we propose a shared team.

How is the service measured?

Against metrics agreed before the operation opens, with a threshold below which we enter a recovery plan. It is not a conversation that starts when the client complains.

What if we want to end it?

There is agreed notice and a written reversal plan. The process documentation is yours from day one and leaves with you.
