For Portuguese companies
Outsourcing within Portugal, with data inside the EEA
Teams in Lisbon, Porto and across the country, onsite, hybrid or remote. With no international data transfer and none of the obligations of adding more people to your own headcount.

Why not simply hire directly?
Often you should. If the role is permanent, central to the business and recruitment is not the bottleneck, hiring is usually the better decision and we say so. Outsourcing solves something else: capacity that has to exist quickly, that moves with demand, or that needs a profile your company recruits once every two years and never gets good at recruiting.
There is also total cost, which is rarely the salary. An in-house seat in Portugal carries fourteen months of pay, the employer's social security contribution, the meal allowance, space, equipment, licences, recruitment and attrition. The savings calculator sets that against ours, loaded the same way, because setting a gross salary against a supplier rate always produces the answer the supplier wants.
Which work makes sense to keep in Portugal?
Anything touching specially protected data, anything serving the Portuguese customer in European Portuguese, and anything needing physical proximity or occasional presence in your office. For health data and for many public-sector procedures, the domestic-only model is not a preference but the only defensible answer.
What usually does not pay to keep in Portugal is high-volume, low-complexity processing, where cost dominates and variant does not matter. If that is your case we will tell you the answer lies elsewhere in the network, even when that means a smaller proposal.
Onsite, hybrid or remote?
Hybrid, in most cases. In Lisbon and Porto it is the arrangement that best balances retention and supervision, and it is what candidates expect. Fully remote widens the recruiting pool considerably, particularly outside the two cities, and works well for roles with measurable output. Fully onsite makes sense when the work needs access to premises or to documentation that does not leave the building.
In Braga, Coimbra, Aveiro, Faro, Funchal and Ponta Delgada, cost per seat is lower than Lisbon and competition for talent is weaker, which usually shows up as better retention. For teams that do not need to be in the capital, it is often the more sensible decision.
Frequently asked questions
Are the people yours or ours?
Ours. They are employed by us, and performance management, training and retention are our responsibility.
Can we hire them directly later?
You can, and there is a clause setting out the terms. We prefer to settle that upfront rather than turn it into a dispute later.
Does data leave Portugal?
Not in this model. The operation is entirely domestic, so there is no international transfer to document.
Is it suitable for health data?
It is the model we recommend for health data, precisely because it keeps everything inside the European Economic Area.
What is the cost against hiring?
It depends on the role and the city. The calculator on the pricing page compares fully loaded cost with fully loaded cost, which is the only honest comparison.
Do you work in the islands?
Yes, in Funchal and Ponta Delgada, usually remote or hybrid, at a lower cost per seat than Lisbon.
How long does a team take to start?
Four to eight weeks from a signed proposal, depending on profile and city.
Can we start small?
Yes. Three people is the minimum for a dedicated team with holiday cover; below that we propose a shared team.
Who signs the contract?
Corpshore Solutions Corporation, based in Toronto. Corpshore Portugal is a division, not a Portuguese company.
